About me

Rosa Hochschild

I'm a senior in high school and live in the Bay Area with my parents, sister, dog, and hamster.

Why do I sing? 

Because I love music.

It comes naturally to me.

And it relaxes me. 

​

I was humming melodies before I could talk. When I was learning to ride a bike, I would hum to calm myself down. Even just a couple months ago, learning to drive, I was humming to myself in the car.

​

Music is a huge part of my life. I feel lucky to get to bring it into other people's lives.

​

I have sung for community leaders, for friends who were sick or dying, and for family during holidays and other celebrations. I also did a bicycle tour to friends' homes, singing opera to raise money for a rescue park for big cats! 

​

How do I spend my time when I'm not at school?

Serving as a lead volunteer at a local food bank (three times a week).

Taking walks on nature trails.

Hanging out with friends.

Binge-watching horror movies.

Getting coffee with my grandma.

And of course, listening to music and singing!
